Carla-Maria is an Associate Lawyer at INB Family Law LLP and was called to the Bar in 2025.
Carla-Maria graduated from Queen’s University with a B.A.H in Politics and French Studies before receiving her Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. While attending law school, she was actively involved with Pro Bono Canada and the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association, reflecting her commitment to access to justice and community engagement.
Carla-Maria began her career with INB as a Summer Student, where she first developed an interest in family law. She subsequently completed her articles at a midsize family law firm in Ottawa before returning to INB as an Associate Lawyer. Through these experiences, she has developed a passion for family law, specifically drawn to the ability to work directly with individuals during some of the most challenging periods of their lives. Carla-Maria continues to develop her practice, and she strives to approach each matter with empathy and a focus on client-centred advocacy.
Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, Carla-Maria welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds and is happy to communicate in any of her spoken languages. She continues to expand her expertise across all areas of family law
Outside of the office, Carla-Maria enjoys practising yoga, antiquing, travelling, and spending time with loved ones.
