John Ewing is an Associate Lawyer at INB Family Law LLP. Since being called to the Ontario Bar in March 2025, John provides comprehensive support in family law matters, guided by a practical and meticulous approach that prioritizes clear communication and considerate advocacy.
John earned his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and completed his articling requirements at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Law Practice Program. Before law school, he graduated with Honours in Sports Management at Brock University and completed a study-abroad term at the University of Florida.
John’s approach is resolution-focused and client-centred. He assists clients with issues that commonly arise in family law, including parenting arrangements, child and spousal support, property matters, and domestic contracts. Where settlement is not achievable, John is prepared to advance clients’ positions through the court process in a strategic and organized manner.
In support of the legal community and a commitment to ongoing professional development, John is a member of the Indigenous Bar Association and the Toronto Lawyers Association, which helps him stay current on legal issues and practice trends.
Outside of the office, John is a proud father of two sons and stays busy coaching and spending time with his family. He also enjoys staying active by playing hockey and getting out for a round of golf whenever he can. Whether at home, on the ice, or in the office, John brings the same dedication and work ethic, and is someone you can count on for steady guidance and reliable support as you navigate your family law matter.
